Toddler Program
"How much fuller and richer life would be if we saw the child in all his greatness, all his beauty, instead of focusing on all his little mistakes?" ~ Maria Montessori

About the Montessori Toddler Program
Our Toddler program cares for children 12 months to 3 years. Children transition to our preschool classroom throughout the year as they reach their 3rd birthday.
In the Toddler classroom, we focus on developing self-care skills, practicing gross-motor and fine-motor skills, learn how to care for their belongings and space, and begin developing language skills. Our toddlers are exposed to a wide variety of themes and topics throughout the school year. Art and music are an integral part of our curriculum and help the child connect their own experiences to their learning.
Our Classroom
The Toddler classroom is home to 10 children and 2 teachers. This classroom is a warm, sunny sanctuary filled with opportunities for exploration, independence, and play. The space is equipped to assist with both diapers and toilet training, and promoting independence and self-care in our students.

Programs
The Toddler program is offered both half-time and full-time at 2, 3, 4, or 5 days a week. Drop off is 8:30-9:00. Half-day pick up is at 11:30 and full-day pickup is from 2:45-3:00.
We have a monthly rotating curriculum in which children are introduced to a different shape and color each month, tied into a larger monthly or seasonal theme. Art, music, outdoor play, toilet independence, and exploration are the core components of our curriculum
Summer
We are open 8:30am - 3:00pm, Monday - Thursday during the summer.

We spend all morning outside in the summer, including having snack at our picnic tables! We spend lots of time doing art, playing in the sand, taking care of the garden, and best of all, we have water day every week!
